  • The Gravitas Group is the leading mobile marketing company in Asia. Since 2003, Gravitas has served over 200 brands of Fortune 500 companies, listed multinational corporations, and renowned local groups. 
     

  • Eighty20 was tasked with creating events that would generate buzz of the Gravitas Group's successful campaigns and create awareness of their influence within the marketing sector and among top-level management of all leading retail brands in the region.

Solution

 

  • We worked with the Gravitas team to plan and run two key thought leadership digital marketing events, “Mobile Friday” and “CMO Roundtable”, each held once per month in Hong Kong.
     

  • The concept of The CMO Roundtable was a monthly invitation-only event bringing together C-level marketers to exchange innovative ideas for digital challenges and discuss opportunities in a multi-channel and connected world.
     

  • Mobile Friday is a platform where marketing managers and executives from retail brands join can create inspiring discussions and insights on trending topics. Some titles include, ‘Social Media Marketing: Convince and Convert’, ‘Tapping into the WeChat Boom: Nike’s Own the Night’, ‘How to utilize an OWNED media to gain tangible results?’, and ‘How to engage and retain customers via mobile’.
     

  • Speakers and CMOs were invited from brands such as ESPN, Epilson, WeChat, Nike, Ocean Park and HSBC.
     

  • As the organizer of these two events, Gravitas successfully profiled themselves as a leader in the hot space of mobile marketing. They succesfully brought a fresh perspective to digital marketing, helping regional marketers take a step back and formulate a strategic approach to mobile—one that will maximize their investment and build connected brands.
