Hawai‘i Tourism Sales Mission
Background
This was the 2nd annual Camp ALOHA 2018 in Hong Kong. This event provided an interactive travel trade platform for Hawai‘i DMOs, hotels, attractions and suppliers to connect directly with Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou tour operators, airlines, travel agents, MICE planners and media. The focus this event was educating the Hong Kong and Southern China travel industries on the unique offerings of Hawai‘i as a travel destination and to raise awareness and inspire leisure travellers from this region to visit Hawai‘i.
Solution
As the Hong Kong representative office for Hawai'i Tourism Authority, we put together a day of one-on-one meetings, events, networking opportunities, and training sessions for Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen buyers to ensure that more of Hawai‘i is packaged and sold effectively. Using our extensive contacts, we guaranteed that delegates on both tracks were able to achieve a maximum return on their investments.
